PROTECTION

The Protection Working Group (GTP) is established with the purpose of creating a strengthened protection environment, based on international human rights standards and the principles of international refugee law, in which refugees and migrants from Venezuela can exercise the right to asylum, access alternatives for migratory regularization and enjoy the protection established in national and international instruments on human rights, rights of migrants and refugees; and also pay due attention to the needs of the host communities to avoid tensions and mitigate the impact of the arrival of refugees and migrants from Venezuela.
