R4V Situation Report - Caribbean - March 2022
Trinidad and Tobago, Aruba and the Dominican Republic hosted national launches for the 2022 Refugee and Migrant Response Plan. Displacement Tracking Matrix (DTM) results were released for Trinidad and Tobago. Partners in the Dominican Republic continue to provide support to the Venezuelan population participating in the normalization plan.

El estudio multi anual liderado por el PNUD analiza las condiciones de vida y el acceso a medios de vida entre las mujeres refugiadas y migrantes de Venezuela en Colombia, Ecuador y Peru. Se analiza la relacion entre la descualificacion, con el aumento en la carga de cuidados y el riesgo de sufrir violencia de genero.

Esta guia creada por Caribe Afirmativo y ACNUR en el marco de trabajo del grupo de espacios de apoyo y de violencia basada en genero ofrece bases conceptuales en temas de diversidad de genero y orientacion sexual y recomendaciones para brindar un enfoque diferenciado a la poblacion refugiada y migrante de Venezuela que se identifica como LGBTI.

Guia de apoyo psicosocial a personas sobrevivientes de Violencia Basada en Genero
La guia trabajada por el subsector regional de violencia basada en genero le brinda a las gestoras de caso y trabajadoras sociales herramientas practicas focalizadas para atender a las necesidades psicosociales de las personas sobrevivientes de violencia basada en genero provenientes de Venezuela. El documento ofrece un modelo y ejercicios practicos que le permitan al los y las funcionarias de programa de respuesta a la VBG dar continuidad a la atención para mejorar el bienestar psicosocial de las personas sobrevivientes, aun ante limitaciones operativas que obligan a utilizar modalidades remotas o mixtas.

National Roundtables Of Consultation With Venezuelan Indigenous Peoples 2021: Trinidad and Tobago
The Regional Protection Sector, in coordination with the national sectors in Guyana, Trinidad and Tobago, Colombia and the Working Group with Indigenous Peoples in Brazil, developed a strategy in 2021 to strengthen the response to protection risks faced by Venezuela's indigenous peoples in host countries. In the case of Trinidad and Tobago, the National Roundtable was held between November 7 and 9, 2021 with delegates from the Warao indigenous community.

América Latina y el Caribe es testigo del mayor flujo de personas refugiadas y migrantes en la historia de la región. Más de seis millones de personas refugiadas y migrantes han salido de Venezuela, con más de cinco millones acogidas por países la región. La pandemia de COVID-19 ha profundizado las desigualdades preexistentes y aumentado la vulnerabilidad de las personas refugiadas y migrantes en la sociedad. Los efectos en las condiciones de vida, seguridad, dignidad y salud de las personas refugiadas y migrantes de Venezuela y sus comunidades de acogida han sido dramáticos.
