The Introduction to the R4V Nutrition Sector aims to help R4V partners to understand the specificities and foci of the R4V Nutrition sector response. It summarizes the different forms of malnutrition, the determinants of these types of malnutrition and how these can be addressed, the role of the R4V Nutrition sector in addressing the immediate determinants of malnutrition with nutrition-specific interventions and the rationale for focusing on specific population groups.
