Reporte situacional sobre la respuesta a refugiados y migrantes de los socios del GIFMM local. 

Este manterial fue elaborado en el marco del proyecto que Aldeas Infantiles SOS Perú y la Organización Internacional para las Migraciones – OIM, han desarrollado durante los meses de julio a noviembre de 2023 y que denominaron “Servicio especializado para la asistencia y protección de niñas, niños y adolescentes migrantes y refugiados separados, no acompañados o en situación de vulnerabilidad en Lima, Tumbes, Piura y Arequipa”. Las zonas prioritarias se identificaron teniendo en cuenta los lugares donde se ha evidenciado una mayor afluencia de población refugiada y migrante. El proyecto brindó respuesta a 198 casos de niñas, niños y adolescentes que requerían asistencia especial debido a las situaciones de vulnerabilidad a las que se enfrentan y que conlleva a posibles situaciones de riesgo o desprotección familiar.

In addition to responding to the principles established in different international frameworks such as the New York Declaration for Refugees and Migrants (2016) or the Global Pact for Safe, Orderly and Regular Migration (2018), the GAM is a standardized tool that allows for the creation of better projects and capacity building for gender mainstreaming, including age (life cycle) and disability. It is also the only quantitative source of global data on these aspects that allows the RMRP to have an overall report on its progress in this regard.

This R4V Handbook provides a comprehensive summary of the technical and practical aspects of inter-agency coordination in responding to the mixed movements situation involving migrants and refugees in Latin America and the Caribbean. It offers guidance on the roles and responsibilities of the R4V National, Sub-regional, and Regional Platform and Sector coordinators, as well as details key processes, including the development of the RMNA and RMRP. The Handbook highlights best practices that can be replicated in other inter-agency and mixed movements contexts, based on a thorough overview of the R4V model.
