O setor regional de Segurança Alimentar lançou um repositório com publicações sobre a temática na América Latina e Caribe no mês de Julho de 2023.

Perú es el segundo país en el mundo con la mayor población refugiada y migrante de Venezuela. Son más de 1.5 millones de personas que afrontan dificultades para acceder a información confiable y actualizada que les permita realizar trámites, como regularizar su situación migratoria o solicitar protección humanitaria. Para disminuir esta brecha de información, ACNUR, la Agencia de la ONU para los Refugiados, la Organización Internacional para las Migraciones (OIM), el Fondo de las Naciones Unidas para la Infancia (UNICEF) y el Programa Mundial de Alimentos (WFP) lanzaron oficialmente InfoContigo, una plataforma integral que, mediante una línea gratuita y un chat de WhatsApp, brinda información sobre acceso a derechos y servicios disponibles, orienta sobre asistencia humanitaria, y recibe quejas y comentarios sobre los programas de las agencias.

Situation Report on the main developments and response highlights from GTRM partners of the R4V response in Peru for January 2023

This Joint Needs Assessment (JNA) is the result of a collective effort by the 100 members of the Refugee and Migrant Working Group (GTRM, for its acronym in Spanish), working together with the Peruvian state. Each year, the methodology is improved, more documents are analyzed, more key informants are interviewed, and more organizations and experts join this effort. This year, we also consulted with the Venezuelan refugee and migrant population for their feedback on the needs and solutions identified during the sectoral workshops. The JNA has especially valuable data this year from the second National Survey on the Venezuelan population (ENPOVE, for its acronym in Spanish), conducted by the Peruvian National Institute of Statistics and Computer Science (INEI, for its acronym in Spanish). These data, gathered in February and March 2022, are representative of the Venezuelan population.
