What is the #PlatformR4V?

The Interagency Coordination Platform for Refugees and Migrants (R4V) is made up by nearly 200 organizations (including UN Agencies, civil society, faith-based organizations and NGOs, among others) that coordinate their efforts under Venezuela's Refugee and Migrant Response Plan (RMRP) in 17 countries in Latin America and the Caribbean.

Informe de Migração Venezuelana - Ago/2022

O informe de Migração Venezuelana do Subcomitê Federal para Recepção, Identificação e Triagem dos Imigrantes, coordenado pelo Ministério da Justiça e Segurança Pública, apresenta dados sobre o fluxo migratório venezuelano, no âmbito da Operação Acolhida, a resposta humanitária do governo federal. O objetivo deste informe, elaborado em parceria com a OIM, é de apresentar as informações atualizadas mensalmente e relativas ao fluxo de entradas e saídas e de regularização migratória de venezuelanos incluindo números de registros ativos de residência temporária e por tempo indeterminado, solicitantes de refúgio e refugiados reconhecidos, assim como a emissão de CPFs.

Informe de Interiorização - ago/2022

O informe de Interiorização do Subcomitê Federal para Interiorização, coordenado pelo Ministério da Cidadania, apresenta os resultados da Estratégia de Interiorização do governo federal realizada pela Operação Acolhida, resposta humanitária do Governo Federal ao fluxo de refugiados e migrantes venezuelanos no Brasil. Implementada desde 2018, a Estratégia de Interiorização foi estabelecida para aliviar a pressão sobre os serviços públicos da Região Norte, em especial nas áreas de saúde, de assistência social e de educação, e para permitir novos recomeços e oportunidades de vida para venezuelanos que desejam permanecer no Brasil. De forma voluntária, os refugiados e migrantes se estabelecem em cidades brasileiras em todo o país por meio das modalidades de reunificação familiar ou de amigos, vaga de emprego ou moradia em abrigos. O informe, elaborado em parceria com a OIM e de periodicidade mensal, apresenta números e perfil de participantes da interiorização com dados de evolução histórica e distribuição geográfica, percentual das modalidades, casas de passagens utilizadas e número de municípios de acolhida. Essas informações possibilitam também um maior conhecimento e agilidade para a integração local dessa população em interface com o poder público local.

BRA- Results from nutrition screening exercises among Venezuelan refugee and migrant children under 5 in Roraima - Brazil - UNICEF

Since March 2018, UNICEF has conducted health and nutrition activities aiming at assisting refugees and migrants from Venezuela through the implementation of primary health care services (APS). The main UNICEF health and nutrition activities are focused on the North region of the country, Roraima, specifically in the municipalities of Boa Vista, Pacaraima, and Manaus, the ones receiving most refugees and migrants. As part of its Nutrition activities, UNICEF, and implementing partner ADRA, conducts infant and young child feeding counselling to caregivers of children under 2, nutrition counselling and micronutrient supplementation in children under 5 and pregnant and lactating women, and screening exercises to identify children under 5 with acute malnutrition, and refer them to health care facilities for adequate care.
