After several months of planning, on 16 and 17 March will take place, in Brussels, the 2023 International Conference in Solidarity with Refugees and Migrants from Venezuela and their Host Countries and Communities, organized by the European Union and the Government of Canada, with the close support of the UN Refugee Agency (UNHCR), the International Organization for Migration (IOM) and the Interagency Coordination Platform for Refugees and Migrants from Venezuela (R4V).

The International Conference aims to maintain the visibility of the situation of refugees and migrants from Venezuela and to continue to support host countries in Latin America and the Caribbean that are making important efforts to welcome and integrate them.

To complement the International Conference, on Wednesday, March 15, also in Brussels, the R4V Platform will hold a series of sector roundtables in order to highlight important progress and achievements made to date, raise awareness of persistent gaps, challenges and risks facing refugees, migrants and affected host communities in Latin America and the Caribbean, and to provide for an open and inclusive forum to discuss key opportunities and priorities among host and donor governments, response actors, civil society, academia and affected refugees and migrants (more information below).

All in-person participants must complete the registration form by no later than Friday, 10 March 2023. Register now on this link!*

We look forward to seeing you there!
